The Exceptional Rehab program at Sky View serves as a bridge between hospital and home, spanning the gap from recovery to community reentry.
Our Dedicated rehab department boasts an unusually large staff, who are hard at work 7 days a week, helping each resident achieve their highest functional level.

Our Team of highly credentialed physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapists work in tandem to create restorative care programs that prepare residents for their eventual return back home.

Residents, not on an active Rehab program, are assessed quarterly by the Rehab staff for any change in their abilities and placed on an appropriate Rehab program if a decline is found. For the long-term residents, the personalized restorative care programs are designed to maximize their independence, as they are welcomed into the Sky View family.

Our Spacious rehabilitation therapy room features a full range of therapeutic equipment of the finest technology and ergonomic design. The NuStep TRS 4000 (Recumbent Cross Trainer), Sci Fit Pro II (Rotary Cardiovascular machine), Endorphin Hand Cycle, Endorphin Wall Pulley Weight System, Midland Electric Stand-In Table, adjustable parallel bars, training stairs, free weight systems, exercise mat, and sensory motor products.

An Individual therapy plan is designed based on the initial capabilities of each resident and it is continuously reviewed and modified to keep pace with the changing needs of each. In effect, we allow our residents a chance for a "NEW BEGINNING" discharge planning begins upon admission, with home care and equipment needs arranged for by the Sky View team.
